About the release
Tokyo's Forget-me-nots has its first proper Nike collab, and it lands on one of the most interesting silhouettes in the current Nike lineup. The Total 90 Shox Magia is a hybrid of the Total 90 III football shoe and Nike's Shox running tech, and Forget-me-nots has taken it somewhere unexpected. The 'Shy Pink' colourway pulls inspiration from Rio Carnival — a satin-based gradient upper, chrome detailing, three sets of customisable laces and a forget-me-not flower on the insole.
This is a women's exclusive release. Style code IQ5683-601, finished in Shy Pink and University Red over a black toe and heel with a metallic silver Shox unit. The Green Gusto colourway in the same pack (IQ5683-300) already released on 13 June via Forget-me-nots' own store, and the Shy Pink is the wider Nike SNKRS rollout following on 20 June.
UK release is Saturday 20 June 2026 at 8:00 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers. Women's sizing only.

Design and details
The Total 90 Shox Magia is already a hybrid silhouette — half Total 90 III football shoe, half Shox runner — and the Forget-me-nots execution adds another layer entirely. Where most T90 reworks have leaned terrace or lifestyle, this one goes for something more deliberately feminine and design-led, with the Rio Carnival inspiration playing out through colour and material rather than literal references.
Satin gradient upper
The base of the shoe is a satin-finish upper that fades from black at the toe through Shy Pink and University Red in the midfoot, back to black at the heel. The satin finish is the right call — it picks up light in a way that more matte materials would lose, and gives the gradient the visual movement it needs to feel intentional. It's a softer, more reflective build than the standard T90 leather.
Chrome detailing
Metallic silver chrome overlay panels appear on the midfoot of the lateral side and across the area above the Shox cushioning at the heel. Against the pink and red satin, the chrome sits as the design's loudest contrast point — bright, reflective, and the most overt Carnival-style flourish on the shoe. This is the detail that pulls the whole colourway together.
Shox heel unit
The Shox columns at the heel run in black with the metallic silver panel above, keeping the rear of the shoe grounded against the brighter midfoot. The Shox tech itself is what makes the Magia genuinely unusual — most T90 reworks stop at the upper, but the Shox cushioning gives this one a different feel and silhouette underfoot.
Customisable laces and insole branding
Forget-me-nots has included three sets of laces with the shoe, giving you the option to swap and customise. FMN branding appears on the right insole and a forget-me-not flower sits on the left. Black accents run across the tongue and interior lining to tie everything together.

The Green Gusto colourway and the wider pack
The 'Shy Pink' is one of two colourways in the Forget-me-nots x Nike Total 90 Shox Magia pack. The other — 'Green Gusto / Black / Metallic Silver', style code IQ5683-300 — already released on 13 June 2026 exclusively through Forget-me-nots' own store at Forgetmenots.jp.
The Green Gusto follows the same construction logic — satin gradient upper, chrome detailing, black toe and heel, Shox unit — just swapping the pink and red for a bright green. Unlike the Shy Pink, it doesn't get a wider Nike SNKRS release, so if you missed the 13 June drop your only options now are resale or pivoting to the Shy Pink on 20 June. Both pairs share the same SKU base, the same materials and the same Rio Carnival concept.

Forget-me-nots: a women-focused Nike collab
Forget-me-nots is a Tokyo-based sneaker and lifestyle boutique with a women-focused approach. It's a curated retail space and clothing brand built to give women a properly considered platform for sneaker and streetwear culture — something the wider industry still treats as a side conversation rather than a category in its own right. The brand has had a quiet but well-respected presence in Tokyo for years, and previously linked with Jordan Brand on a tasteful Air Ship collab back in 2023.
The Total 90 Shox Magia is Forget-me-nots' first official Nike Sportswear collab, and it's a meaningful one. Picking a hybrid silhouette rather than a heritage classic, designing two colourways that lean genuinely feminine without falling into pastel stereotypes, and including a small but real consumer detail like the three sets of laces — it all reads as a brand using the collab platform properly rather than just clearing a check box. The Rio Carnival inspiration is unexpected for a Japanese boutique, but it makes sense once you see the satin and chrome execution on the shoe.
