Hirofumi Kojima has been actively engaging on social platforms recently, hinting at exciting new partnerships between atmos and brands like On Running, New Balance, and others to mark the 25th anniversary of his company. His latest update reveals a unique triple collaboration involving atmos, BAPE, and adidas, reimagining the iconic Superstar sneaker. This project revives the popular atmos “G-SNK” concept with adidas.
Although official photos are still under wraps, the images provided below offer a sneak peek. Two distinct designs stand out: one showcases a grayscale BAPE camo pattern across the upper, accented by gold BAPE gorilla logos near the heels. Both versions include BAPE-branded lace charms. The standout feature, revealed in a lights-off shot, is a glow-in-the-dark snakeskin effect illuminating the Three Stripes and BAPE star overlays. This “G-SNK” signature, a nod to atmos’ long-standing tradition with adidas Superstars, continues to define their joint efforts. BAPE, too, has a history with the Superstar, notably with its 2021 “ABC Camo” release in green.
According to Kojima, this sneaker will launch exclusively at atmoscon in Japan, scheduled for April 19th–20th. Stay tuned as we await sharper images and further details in the weeks ahead. Explain G-SNK history Other BAPE collaborations Make it more engaging.
