About the release

This might be the loudest Air Max 95 of the summer. The Nike Air Max 95 Big Bubble 'Woven Multi' takes the AM95's gradient grey side panels and threads them with highlighter-bright woven straps in yellow, pink, orange and green. Some call it 'Rainbow Woven'. Others have nicknamed it the 'Post-It'. Either way, it's been one of the more talked-about AM95 returns of the year. Style code IB3695-100.

Nike's looking back at its Footscape past for the woven construction here, an idea it last applied to the Air Max 95 in 2019. This time it lands on the Big Bubble tooling, with Dynasty Purple finishing the mini Swoosh and Air unit and multicoloured details running through the tongue, insoles and laces.

UK release is Friday 12 June 2026 for £175 via Nike SNKRS and select Nike Sportswear retailers. Unisex sizing.

Design and details

The 'Woven Multi' takes the most recognisable element of the Air Max 95 — Sergio Lozano's layered, gradient side panels — and threads it with something completely unexpected. The grey gradient is still there, but it's been segmented and woven through with colour. It's a fundamentally different way of building the AM95 upper, and it gives the silhouette a texture and energy it doesn't usually have.

T-toe and side panels

The base build keeps the AM95 DNA intact. A black T-toe anchors the front of the shoe, and the wavy side panels are constructed from grey suede strips in a familiar gradient. The top of the upper mixes white and black mesh, and the laces run in white to match the lighter zones. From a distance, the basic colour blocking still reads as a classic Air Max 95.

Highlighter woven straps

The headline detail is the weaving. Multicoloured highlighter straps in yellow, pink, orange and green are threaded vertically through the side panels. Every other strap extends up out of the segmented sections and turns into a lace loop, an elongated approach that pulls directly from the Air Footscape's woven perimeter. The straps add structure and visual rhythm in equal measure, and the colour mix is what's earned the shoe its 'Post-It' nickname.

Branding and finishing details

The Air Max tongue label is embroidered in the same multicoloured highlighter palette, with the insoles echoing the colour mix. The mini Swoosh, branded details and Air unit run in Dynasty Purple, giving the cooler tones somewhere to land against all the highlighter energy. A small but key detail — the outsole gets a flash of orange across the forefoot, breaking up what would otherwise be a fully black bottom.

Big Bubble sole

Underfoot, this sits on Nike's Big Bubble Air Max tooling — the larger visible Air unit that references the original mid-90s AM95 production setup. The Big Bubble has been the foundation of most of Nike's 30th anniversary AM95 work this year, and it gives the woven upper a more substantial platform to sit on. The Air unit is finished in Dynasty Purple, tying back to the branding accents above.

The Footscape reference

The Air Footscape is one of Nike's more polarising silhouettes. Designed by Toren Orzeck and originally launched in the mid-90s, it broke just about every rule of conventional sneaker construction. The Swoosh sat off-centre, the upper was asymmetric, the lacing system was woven directly through the perimeter of the shoe rather than across a conventional tongue. It didn't land in the US. In Japan, it became a cult favourite and a foundational reference point for what became the comfy, ergonomic side of Nike design — including silhouettes like the Air Moc.

The Footscape Woven took that idea and pushed it further, threading colourful textile ribbons through the perimeter. That's the direct lineage for the AM95 'Woven Multi'. Nike has done a woven AM95 before — a Volt version in 2019, plus various Nike By You options — but this 2026 release leans harder into the Footscape's multicoloured DNA than any previous attempt. It's the most committed execution of the woven concept on this silhouette so far.

FAQ

When is the Nike Air Max 95 'Woven Multi' UK release date?

The Nike Air Max 95 Big Bubble 'Woven Multi' releases on Friday 12 June 2026 via Nike SNKRS and select Nike Sportswear retailers.

How much does the Nike Air Max 95 'Woven Multi' cost in the UK?

UK retail price is £175. US retail is $190.

What is the style code for the Nike Air Max 95 'Woven Multi'?

The style code is IB3695-100. The official colourway is White / Pearl Grey / Light Charcoal Grey / Dynasty Purple, though the woven straps add yellow, pink, orange and green to the upper.

Why is it called the 'Post-It' Air Max 95?

The 'Post-It' nickname comes from the highlighter-bright woven straps — yellow, pink, orange and green — that thread through the side panels. The colour combination is reminiscent of stacked Post-It notes. It's an unofficial moniker but it's stuck.

What is the Footscape connection to the 'Woven Multi'?

The woven construction on the AM95 is a direct reference to the Air Footscape Woven — a Nike silhouette designed by Toren Orzeck that threaded colourful textile ribbons through the perimeter of the shoe. The AM95 'Woven Multi' applies the same idea to the Air Max 95's segmented side panels.

Has Nike done a woven Air Max 95 before?

Yes. A Volt-accented woven AM95 dropped in 2019, and Nike has offered woven options on the Nike By You customisation platform at various points. The 2026 'Woven Multi' is the first to use the Big Bubble tooling and the most colour-forward execution of the woven concept on this silhouette.
