Supreme is back on Nike for one of the year's more unexpected archive revivals. The Supreme x Nike Air Max 2001 Air Ecstasy pulls a genuinely obscure late-90s / early-2000s Nike runner out of the archive, gives it a new name (the shoe was originally known as the Air Max 2000), and reworks it in three exclusive colourways for the FW26 season. It's part of a wider Nike Air Max Ecstasy revival — inline versions of the model are also coming as the 'Air Max Ecstasy Plus' — but this Supreme x Nike Air Max execution is the first time the silhouette has ever received a proper collaborative reissue.
The build features a quilted mesh upper with 3M reflective TPU logos at the side and heel — the model's distinctive horizontal side detailing has been reworked so that Supreme's 'Sup' branding is woven into the mesh, transforming the shape into another opportunity for bold co-branding. Reflective elements extend further across the lace loops and a dedicated tongue panel. For support, the silhouette carries a Phylon midsole housing transparent air bags, on top of a durable rubber outsole. Hidden details include debossed graphics at the heel and midsole, a co-branded footbed, and mesh collar and tongue lining.
